There will be a meeting of the Derry Sled Dogs on Tuesday, August 17 at Brandmeyer’s Mountainside Lodge. Election of officers at 6:30 pm, followed by a general meeting. All members are invited.
Our Get Together Ride for Sunday, February 7, has been postponed due to the lack of snow. We will re-schedule the ride for March – watch the website for the new date!

Update on our Sunday, Feb 7 th Get -Together Ride – Our ride will be postponed if a generous amount of snow isn’t received by this weekend. The new date will be posted next week on the website – stay tuned!
Join us for an early-day ride on our local trails. We leave from Brandmeyer’s Mountanside Lodge on Route 100 in Weston at 11 am. You can ride to Brandmeyer’s or trailer! (Call Lisa @ 802-824-5851 for info). We”ll ride a “loop” around Weston – Belmont – Ludlow trails, approximately 3-4 hours. We are asking our Riders to please bring a non-perishable food item with them for a donation to the Londonderry Food Bank. Let’s try to help our neighbors in these difficult times. We’re looking forward to riding with you!

Welcome to the new club website! This page will keep you current on all our news & club events. Here at the Derry Sled Dogs headquarters in Weston, we are gearing up for another great snowmobile season. VAST trails open statewide on Wednesday, December 16th. Early bird TMA’s are in so get yours while they are available. You may also purchase them through the mail this year – Just go to the TMA page on this website for all the information.
We had a fantastic year last year and we were able to make significant gains in our financial situation. We start this year stronger than ever. This allows us to maintain our equipment, purchase fuel, and maintain the trails. We would especially like to thank our team of volunteer groomers for laying down some incredible trails. Here are a few updates from the club:
-We have built a bridge in the Orton’s field along Route 100 in Weston. This creek has been a problem for a long time and we are all excited to see the bridge completed.
-The groomer and drag are just back after their summer service, ready to go out and groom the trails.
-We are just completing a trail to Brandmeyer’s Mountainside Lodge on RT 100 in Weston. You will have a safe access trail to great dining and lodging in the heart of some of the best snowmobiling in Vermont. Located off VAST RT 12 in Weston. Please call Bob & Lisa at Brandmeyer’s Mountainside Lodge 802-824-5851 for updates on the trail.
-Thanks to our local volunteers, our trails have been cleaned and signed, and we’re ready for the season to start!
